My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
So my F150 wipers will sometimes work and sometimes not. If they don't work, I shut off and start the truck again and they'll work.

A few times they worked when key switched on, but then not work after engine starts. Last time I had to cycle the ignition 3 times before they kicked and worked (it was raining, I needed em). Worked fine after that starting it to return home.

I searched some forums and found one thread about it. Guy said it turned out to be the fuse. The tabs were not making full contact and needed to be bent in a little more. Someone also stated it could be a bad ground. Ford uses dumb rubber grommet washered bolts or something.

Figured I'd post here in case anyone else has experienced this to tell me if I am on the right track. I'll update after poking around if I fix it. Gonna start at the fuse box I guess.

Do other functions related to the ignition switch work?

Yep, every other little switch, button, control and function works fine....surprisingly.

Its really odd only the wipers wont work, but only sometimes. And usually turning the truck on and off will fix it.

Its just starting to do it more often. Last time I had to cycle the key 3 or 4 times, fully removing the key between cycles. Finally worked.
