03 Ranger MAF Sensor question

Wondering if I can replace just the meter (has security screws) because the part was only 14 vs having to buy the whole housing. Ive had the sensor code throw twice now - i reset first time cause i did some work on it and wasn't sure if it was fluke... Is this doable and what does anyone know what size securty torx that is? Any input is appreciated

03 3.0 v6 ranger auto if it matters.

Harbor Freight Tools sells a set of torx that will let you do that. Yes, you can just remove and replace the sensor.
