Yep, seen several of these vids lately on YT.
Yangli is the chinese manufacturer; base price $2000 range.
Appears to be a glorified GolfCart.
Wondering if street legal & thus practical in any state?
Like the optional HydraulicLiftDump for the bed; thinking about doing this for the UltraShort bed on my SportTrac!

I think this is like the equivalent of the Japanese mini trucks or UTVs. Can’t drive them on the road in most places, but can be handy if you have a large property.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
I'd rather have a Gator or something like it.

Wheelers have always enjoyed superior resale value in my area, even pre-covid.

Past couple years the market has been extra insane though. It's gotta start coming around sooner than later.. every dealer around me has a floor full of wheelers ready to buy now. It's nice to see, considering a new wheeler has been a 4-6 month wait for the past couple years. I bought mine in 2020 and got lucky... the dealers 3k Sq ft showroom was empty.. but yamaha delivered them 2 wheelers earlier that morning that were still in crates. I had to spend more than I wanted to... but YOLO took over and I took what I could get.

Now i could pry sell it for 3500. 4-4500 if i let the plow setup go with it.

Its crazy.

They'd probly find a way in Florida, there are a lot of "golf cart" communities there.
I had friends on the Gulf coast I'd go visit fairly often when I worked out of New Orleans. We'd go fishing and such on the inland bayous.
They had a little YUGO and if their son was around when they started getting that thing out he'd just start laughing

There are a lot of factories in Southern California and the south west that use them. Instead of having a large 50acre building, they have a few smaller buildings scattered around a large paved lot. Cheaper to build and keep climate controled.

They tend to use these to get around instead of golf carts.

I've been to where they make the little Gem carts in Anaheim CA and other electric driven things, those Gem things are neat, do like 25mph, didn't ask how long they last on a charge but they start at like 15k so not like I could afford one :)

I'd say not impossible. Would likely depend on what it would be classified as, importation status, and where you are located.

I know there have been some people who have gotten some of the little dune buggy style UTVs registered and tagged for street use. Can't legally be used on interstates, but tagged and legal for state and county roads. No title on those but can apparently be done with the MSO.

The biggest problem I can see is that if they weren't approved for sale here, vehicles newer that 25 years old can't be imported and registered for street use. Apparently they can be imported for collections, but not registered for street use. I don't know the exact laws of how it works, but you'll get the idea.

As I said people are getting the little UTV/SXS buggys registered for street use and most of them are less than 25 years old, were never approved for street use, and were imported. So I don't know what makes them different and whether that little truck would be classified as a vehicle or a UTV when imported.

Alot of the street legal side by sides and ATV's often only have to meet motorcycle safety standards. Meaning...basically...lights and signals.

I doubt this little truck would fall under that umbrella.

You know a really cool UTV is those mahindra roxor. For $20k I think I would be better off with an old pickup or something.
