I like creamecheese on my pork roll and egg, hash brown, on an everything bagel. Maybe a little hot sauce.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
Is it anything like that pretend turkey roll stuff?
Oh god no!!!

Pork roll/Taylor ham is a processed pork product made with a mix of spices, salt, a sugar cure, and preservatives that is smoked before being packaged. If you ask the manufacturer, Taylor Provisions of Trenton, N.J., they'll tell you the official name of the product is John Taylor's "Original Taylor Pork Roll," due to the fact that it originally only came in a tube-like casing.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Oh god no!!!
In high school, I spent a week each summer somewhere on the Jersey shore. Not Atlantic city. But I don’t remember the actual town. But there was a Taylor Pork Roll restaurant in the boardwalk. I used to like getting their sandwiches for lunch.

edit: might have been Jersey City

Mabel’s closed years ago… we get our porkroll, egg, and cheese sandwiches from Luigi’s Deli.

You gotta the hash brown on the sandwich. It really adds to the flavor.
I know Luigi. Nice Polish fella.

We used to call it 'Taylor' Ham. Taylor Ham, egg and cheese on a buttered English muffin. And that was probably Asbury Park?

Don’t think I’ve ever been to Asbury Park.

the grey-t escape
Went shopping, tsc for propane & cheap tarps to wrap the chicken cage up with for the winter, menards for 2-10’ lengths of 1-1/2” black pipe. Took it to the car wash too, been awhile and my wheels were really showing it. Started the hhr when I got home, rattling more than ever. Found a few used ones, mines a parts vehicle now, ready to toss parts through the pan and or side of the block at any given moment.

Parked the two tupperware/pop can rigs on the barn, parked the ranger somewhere a tree will have do some flying to land on it, wished the ol' girl the best of luck and headed to the basement. Could hear the sirens from town as I took off for the house.

Update: There was a tornado like 7 miles south of us. Just rain and light small hail here. And it sounded like someone kept touching off a 30-06 at our front door as we were gathering little kid supplies to go downstairs.
