Used mine to bring home a '65 chevy c10 that's the textbook definition of fabricobbled together.

So it's a '65 c10 cab, fenders, and hood on a '93 2wd suburban frame that's been shortened 20". Firewall dash and floor are the suburbans, TBI 350 and an nv3500 5 speed trans.

My buddy traded a 4 wheeler for the truck. I'm going to ultimately end up with the truck for "free" after I help him remove the motor/trans and put them in his 84 s10.

Already aquired a free th350 from another buddy to put in it, and once I get a new motor in my square body I'll probably dump the 4.3 out of that into this.

Projects! Yay!

I really get carried away sometimes -__- at least this one's free for now.

Time for a 9" it looks like
Even a stock big bearing 9" isn't much above an explorer 8.8 (assuming, if it's a Ranger 8.8, no wonder... I don't remember...)

Went to my mountains today as I took a day to myself. There is a 7 mile single lane road that goes thru the foothills. I have driven it many times in the past..drove that today.

Took a couple of pictures of my ole friend in the mountains. Have looked for a good pair of 93 to 94 xlt door panels for 3 years..found a pair in excellent condition. Bought them for 40.00.

I hate you. I have never found the elusive manual door panels with storage pockets in 5 years of searching.

I had them on my 1990.
1990 is different panels. The 93?-11 panels with manual locks and windows rarely had a storage pouch. Usually only doors with power windows got the little pocket.

Looks like a great drive.
I'd love to do that at speed if I knew the road was blocked to traffic!

In 93-94 all xlt rangers had those style door panels no matter manual or power..it's an xlt thing. My ranger is an xlt and came with that style. Was using a pair of xl panels from a 97 ranger for 2.5 years until I could a a proper replacement. These are a rare find these days in this condition.

Damn.. my 98 had manual doors with the pockets. If I knew they were so rare I would of kept them before scrapping the truck last year
