Been around Fords my whole life. Best friend in HS had a '71 F100 Ranger, while I had the '73 Dodge Tradesman conversion van back in the early 80's. As a young adult, I had a '83 Ranger RWD from '93-'95 only reason for selling was the move from Florida to Oregon.
2016, after a 20 year affair with a '96 Chevy Suburban, I picked up a '93 Ranger XLT Extended cab 4x4 since we no longer had to bring the kids with us on every out doors adventure. Since taking ownership, I've put 20, 700 miles on her, with many of it in the gravel forest service roads here in Oregon.
I've changed out the headlights and grill, added tint to the windows, a spray in bed liner and changed out the the stock radio for a system with blue tooth and Android Auto. Just this month, I added the Yakima Overhaul HD Bed Rack with the HD Bars and Side Bars
Repair wise, I've only had to get a new clutch at 96K miles, which is 9K miles ago now.
