No I get what you're saying. My personal vehicle numbers are actual scale weights from the scrap yard. FWIW my '88 Ranger weighs 3880lbs with me in it, tools, and a plastic bedliner.You're probably looking at GVWR, which is NOT the actual weight. The '15+ aluminum body F-150 is under 5k, and my '13 is under 6k. No way a new Ranger is going to weigh more than my steel body F-150.
The 6000lb Ranger number I found was from here:

And it just says "gross weight" not GVWR, I guess you could interpret that a few ways. Perhaps 6050lbs is including the 1650lbs payload they have listed which would put it at 4400.
