EDIT: Found specs @ http://www.1993cobra.com/data.htm

Camshaft:

Ford designed a new camshaft grind to bring back some of the low end torque that was now lost using these higher flowing cylinder heads. Part number for the cam is F3ZE-6250-CA. Specs are as follows:

Intake/Exhaust duration in degrees of crankshaft rotation: 270/270 and at 0.050 lift 209/209

Intake/Exhaust lift at valve with 1.7 rocker ratio: 0.479/0.479"

Lobe separation is 118.3 degrees with 115 intake lobe center and a 121.5 exhaust lobe center.

Timing events at 0.050 lift are:

Intake: (BTDC):-10.5 / (ABDC): 39.5

Exhaust: (BBDC): 46.0 / (ATDC): -17.0

Here are the specs for all the cams to see what the differences are.
EDIT: I just realized that the B and E cam specs are for 1.6 rockers
EDIT X2: 600th Post!

For comparisons sake, I found these as well:

85-88 HO:
Lift: .278 intake, .278 exhaust
Duration: 266 intake 266 exhaust
Overlap: 36 degrees, 9.04 factor
Lobe Center: 115 intake, 115 exhaust
Ford P/N: E5ZE-AA

89-90 HO:
Lift: .278 intake, .278 exhaust
Duration: 276 intake, 266 exhaust
Overlap: 39 degrees, 19.51 factor
Lobe Center: 116 intake, 115 exhaust
Ford P/N: E8ZE-CA

91-95 HO:
Lift: .278 intake, .278 exhaust
Duration: 276 intake, 266 exhaust
Overlap: 39 degrees, 19.51 factor
Lobe Center: 116 intake, 115 exhaust
Ford P/N: F1ZE-AA (91-94) F4ZE-EA (95)

93-95 Cobra:
Lift: .282 intake, .282 exhaust
Duration: 270 intake, 270 exhaust
Overlap: 33.5 degrees, 15.24 factor
Lobe Center: 115 intake, 121.5 exhaust
Ford P/N: F3ZE-CA

Also, it appears the 93 Cobra and 93 Thunderbird had the same grind of cam.

Great News man! Now all you have to do is squeeze it in between your other projects and get her on the street.

Right on! Hopefully she passed everything with flying colors. Mine just expired a couple days ago. I've been very busy with the big weekend and getting ready for family coming in to town (which is also why I've taken so long to see your post). Needless to say, I haven't taken the Stang in for her annual check up yet. I'm a little worried because I've been told they tightened up the standards this year, which I think is unfair for a 22 year old car.

How in hells bucket did I not see this the other day? Sorry man!

On the GT lights, I'm not parting with them entirely. They are sitting in the shed for their next turn on the car.

As for the wheels, I'm 90% sure I am going to have my buddy powdercoat the Pony Wheels with "Ultimate Chrome" for me. I've tried to make swaps (for Cobra R's) with people in the local classifieds, and had no takers. If I get these done don't like them (which I doubt), then I go back to plan A, which was Cobra R's.

nice stang mann. i had one, i hate the body style. their ugly as hell and ford almost stopped production because of this car. and that being said, i still kinda like them for some reason (ecespically yours). they just dont look like a mustang but, they sure as hell act like one.

Not too much of an update on the Stang. But she does have a new parking spot =).

This is what it looked like a couple of weeks ago:

And 9.5 yards of concrete later:

Hey bud, I'm sorry I've havn't been checking out your build thread. You got your self a damn nice build going. Heres a link I found for wheels:

http://www.cruizinconcepts.com/4lugwheelsrims.asp

If you ever plan on doing a five lug conversion the FR500 wheels would be badass. One of my all time favorite wheels.

Thanks man! I am still up in the air on the wheels. Before I painted it, the wheels were the bright spot on the car. Now that it's painted.... not as much. I just put brand new tires on it not too long before I painted it which are 225/50-16's. So, I'm kind of stuck at the moment because the 17's look a lot better so I can't just put my new tires on some 17's. I'll never get what I need out of what's on it now, so.... I'm stuck. I've been trying to do swaps with guys in the local classifieds that are selling their Stang with the R's on them. No takers yet though.

My main focus the past couple of months is making a nicer winter home for her. My buddy offered to let me park her at his shop this winter again, but I'd really like it at home with me.
