Project 4x4 Commuter Mazda

Hmmmm, if I stop spending money on frivolous items, maybe late May? But realistically probably by August. Just got a raise at work so If I can get a few 40hr weeks in before and after summer school I'll be all set and in good shape to get it re-geared with an expo 31 spline disc 8.8/No-Slip.

Also need to start saving for another motor/tranny setup...but thats a moot point :icon_twisted:

haha....I will be in California in late July for my honeymoon...dont spose the wife would mind if I ditched out to help you regear :D

What part of CA are you coming to? Thats quite a trek me thinks

careful nathan, that's how those "my husband somehow fell of the cruise ship in the middle of the ocean and i dont know how it happened" stories start

Just checked my ebay, mirrors will be here tomorrow so that gives me a project to do this weekend that doesn't involve the suspension for once.

Project that's not suspension?!? What's that mean!?
Keep it up man.

I want wheeling pictures!

Something cosmetic this time around, trying to change it up...though I'd much rather do suspension stuff.

I want wheeling pictures!

Sadly I don't have very many, due to my laziness when wheeling and due to the fact I hardly ever go :bawling:

Gas bill came :icon_surprised:

Got the new ears today, and I was planning on putting them on NOW but its raining so it will have to wait.

Anyone seen a Mazda with +2007 mirrors? Maybe I'm the first :icon_confused: Doubt it but I haven't seen any before.....stay tuned.

that will be interesting. it should fit right?

Yes they work with a little modification. I used this http://www.ranger-forums.com/showthread.php?t=107483&highlight=mirrors

Its a better method than the article we have here on TRS.

Basically all you have to do is reduce the perch height on each screw with a dremel, and then thread the mounting studs back on like so:

After:

Here is the passenger side. I didn't get any pics of the drivers side b/c it got dark, BUT I did get it done.
