Crawlinbc? Yes but not very often tho, why? CBONES is me.

Meh, not hard to add lexan panels for the winter and the colder mud runs. Tho a warm rain suit for the mud and wearing snow machine suit for winter is easy enough. Actually I would like to clear lexan the sides and make a custom soft top just for winter fun, the cold mud is easily dealt with, I used to wheel an open top Willy's cj2a and 66 CJ5 in the past, the drive home on the highway used to suck, but in a buggy the drive home will be in my warm 1ton towrig. :D

it definately has it's up's and down's.

when i'm out riding dirt bike's i dont mind when my gear get's muddy (like some ppl) i just hate when it get's on the inside of my gear, find's it's way into place's you didnt really know you have. there are alot of time's i have made my way home with muddy gear in the back of the truck riding in my skivie's with the heat cranked.

LOL, true enough, mud sure tends to get every where, I know that very well too.

Yeah I'm actually looking forward to those days of possibly riding home in my skivies, because that means I've been out wheeling the buggy I built!! Haha. If it's going to be a mud run or even chance of getting all muddy, I'll just bring more clothes to change into after, there's always a solution, and I don't mind the mud, it's what we have the most of around here and I actually really like to play in the mud.

Yes I have a hard time resisting jumping in mud puddles, lol.

yea... im the same way i dont run doors. and because i dont ever stick to one terrain i usually end up coverd in mud not as bad as my gf though lol

a good full change of clothes is a good idea, shoes as well

Funny how your passenger always gets dirtier hey? LOL, good times! :D

oh yea... id say i dont know why. im just glad im not the passenger anymore. we got stuck in a swamp one day and i go to drive out spraying her so i stop because this was one of the first times she had gone 4 wheeling and i didnt knwo hoe she'd react so i figure ill just reverse out.. sparaying her even more stop again and she goes its ok im already muddy just kep goin. so i hit the gas shot a rooster tail up about 30 ft and every last bit of it came down on her.

it looked like she jumped into the bog head first lol

LOL... yeah mud is the majority around here as well. lot's of mud, root's, and steep hill's.
make's for a fun day in the wood's no matter what your on.

i would like a closer look at your fenders and front bumper if possible... for home made fenders they do look good!

Still waiting for it to warm up here, this -20's deg Celcius crap sucks, I need to wrench outside and I certainly am not going to get anything done out there, it's too damn cold.

Thanks man.

OK well any particular shots you want of both the bumper or fenders? I looked through my pics and have no real good close ups of the bumper so I'll have to get out there and shoot some for ya. What angles are you after?

like your Display picture but bigger and less mud. and a side shot.

im wondering about making tube fenders for mine

OK, but I don't have tube fenders up front, just the bumper that wraps around the fender a bit and then crappy 1/2" thick belting for flares.

The bumper wraps around because I want to eventually do exactly what your saying and tube over the tires and back to the sliders both front and rear and then EXO it eventually after that. I may end up doing the EXO at the same time as I do the 'over the fender' tubes.

Here's a some shots from when I was building the bumper, the tubes wrap around the fender and end, I haven't got around the the over the tire tubes yet, or the sliders for that matter, lol.

Hey Bones, did you use the factory RBV brake master on this? How's the braking ability?

Also... did you just leave no engine crossmember?
