The headlight covers look good, man. It turned out smoother than what I was crudely expecting. Can't wait to see it in clear form, after the mold.

that shot is just after spraying the gelcoat.i'm sanding them smooth now,then they need to be polished to a full gloss.any imperfection on the surface will be transfered to the inside of the covers.can't have that.

i ordered up a bunch of metal today,looks like i get to go on a trip to the real world for a couple of days.

this is an illustration of the difference between 'just sprayed' and 'ready for use' on the forms.it takes a bit of time to sand the surface to get the form right and no pits or bumps left,then polish it to a decent gloss,but this will be reflected in the finished product.

haha unfortunatly that was the first thing i thought of when i saw it too haha even though i know better. but anyway lookin good.....i would be pissed when it came time to tear everything down haha......but i guess that would mean you are just that much closer...now that im keeping up with this thread it is like watchin the new episode of sons of anarchy i just get mad when i get to the end of the new episode and want what happens next oh well it is amazing so far for sure

Set up on the hood like that, it looks like white eyes and the tip of the hood is the nose, that should be an interesting looking face on the front of this lean mean machine.

You have any idea what this thing will weigh when it's all said and done. Obviously it will be a fairly light machine, but do you think it will be over or under what the factory weight was? What was the factory weight? You've cut away a lot of car, then replaced it with tube and aluminium, the engine is close in weight to the old cast iron 6 right? How bout the th400?, rear end should be lighter tho right? Not that it matters, I just started thinking power to weight ratio should be sick!

Megamind was great! Took the kids to watch it in 3D! Metrocity, hilarious, took me a bit to realize he was talking about Metro City, haha, I must be slow, lol.

Ahhh, Adriana Lima, so we got Boobs, we got sexy women, technical information, history lessons, epic geographic settings, comic relief, edge of your seat drama, even sci-fi in theory builds, all the while being viewer interactive, this really is a hit TV show!!

I'm waiting patiently to see this vacuum box!
