Mike's '93 4x4

that looks sweet! do you have any lift up front?

Looking good, mate. This truck seems to have done a full 180 since coming into your posession.

Truck looks good Mike, I can't wait to see it with the new Goodyear MTs on it. Good work.:icon_thumby::icon_cheers:

Sumbitchin' pileuhmonkey nuts, yeehaw! You'll clear those 32's no worries.

Yeah I did the stacked washer spacer lift up front.

Thanks Topher, the PO didn't abuse this truck, just work it hard and not really maintain it. I think he was pretty happy that it ended up in my hands and I'd fix it up. I'll have to show him when I'm done.

I think it will look good too clay, thanks for the compliment.

That's the hope, but I'l talk to whoever is mounting my tires at work and give him permission to trim just in case:icon_rofl:

I did only a coil spacer and fit 32's, I prolly wouldnt have had to trim except 10in wide wheels with 3in backspacing so I had to cut off like 2inches of metal.

Today was a good day wrenching. No advancement on the high idle issue. I jerry rigged the air filter together with double sided tape to seal it, cleaned the MAF, checked the plenum, cleaned the throttle body and swapped out my IAC for another one I just cleaned and... nothing. Still idles way high, I drove it around the block and when I pulled into my driveway in Drive it idled normally but as soon as I put it in Park it idled right up. It also slams into reverse. But still, at least I drove it around the block!

No pics of the intake stuff, i was stressed out because the truck had a draw, turns out my hazard switch was on, it's wired backwards.

Here's some pics:

Reconnected both sway bars.

I used hitch coupler pins for the front, they are a little small so they rattle but w/e, sway bars aren't under huge amounts of stress.

Put on a tailgate cap, I've got a line on them through work.

Such a sweet logo. So sick, testing out the cameras abilities.

The same picture you all saw yesterday, just in the light.

Drove it around the block, handled really nicely.

Enough Rangers in this picture? I just cut out my neighbours green '02:icon_rofl:

Looking at that brush guard, it seems like if you swapped the side pieces from one side to the other it may line up better. Or maybe I'm just being stupid and blind :)

speaking of blindness, I like the two Rangers in the background.

Looking good, Mike! I've got the same high idle issue on my BII... can't be bothered to fix it though, she still runs and drives just fine, just idles at 1200 is all.;missingteeth;

Yeah, I need to get around to swapping them. I made that pic my desktops background:D

Man that is a sweet looking 4X!!!!

Thanks multi!

Drove down to the shop today to get the windshield replaced, however that didn't pan out so I've been bumped to later this week, NBD I have some other stuff to do and access to hoist will make it way easier. Tomorrow getting all the chassis stuff sorted and the alignment done. I'm looking at about a week and then I'll be DDing it. Probably going to install a winterpack on it though:icon_rofl:

So I was going to post pics of my truck with its new tires on the alignment rack but apparently my cell phone's memory card won't get recognized by anything. Shitty.

And the high idle... turns out my cruise control cable was binding up. It's getting the alignment finished tomorrow morning and the windshield in the afternoon. Just needs front brake lines and it will be ready for safety. When it was getting the ball joints done I got 2 new u-joints and almost the whole front end re-sealed. Soon.

Get the phone fixxed!
I can't wait to see the truck with new treads.
