It was either work on the nice soft grass, or the gravel. I chose grass.
The "blocks" I used were quite stable, I nailed then together in a few spots and the truck had no way of rolling off them. When I drove up on it I hit the front block and it stopped the truck dead. It was like hitting a curb dead on. Plus the parking brake and two wheel blocks in the back also helped my fear of crawling under it.
