I'm wonderin if you should set some weight on the chassis over the axle to compensate for the bed before you permanetly set the pinion angle?

Stock is 6* positive..........talk to a few Drag Racers, their opinion was 3* negative............so I set it right at 0*

NO! Funds are tight since I have been cut back to 32 hrs week FIRM!............so things that cost like a steerin rack(est. $200), tranny build(est. $450), driveshaft mod(est. $150), custom headers($550), custom exhaust($250), etc will have to wait til I sell the 2.3L motor and/or come into some unexpected funds.

STATUS:
With all my measurin & mockup, it looks as if the steerin box is gonna be in my way, so I'm lookin at makin a mount that will be welded to the front crossmember for R&P, haven't decided whether to use a Mustang, Pinto, or late model (98-up) Ranger rack........I started a thread askin if anybody else had done it, and haven't found anyone that has, but a couple that are interested in doin it IF I'm successful in doin mine

Blackwidow...........the motor & trans will be one of the final things I do. I've got plenty of other stuff to accomplish before it goes in....

SUCH AS:
Heater box mod (partially done)
R&P steerin to include mount fab
Instument cluster fabbed and installed (partially done & have all Autometer gauges for it bought already)
Install the B&M Pro Stick I bought last year (wasn't intended for this build, but when I find a good deal, I jump on it figurin I'll use it sooner or later)
Install hood pins for lift-off fiberglass cowl hood I picked up
Slapper bars
Decide on fuel tank & install (I've got a Bronco II tank, thinkin bout mountin it at the front of the bed since it's a 23gal tank, would have to fab brackets & straps)

Just to mention a few things needin done............take time & money guys!
