odd engine ideas

i do see 85_ranger 4x4's point, all i want to do is put them in there place cause a friend of mine had a mustang and was going to race one of the hatches that says no honda no balls, but he blew his engine the day before and had to forfeit and they just keep ranking. and i just want to put them in there place with the truck. i'm just trying to figure out what engine will do that job. that's why i was thinking of putting one of these import engines in my truck.

As much as I absolutely hate bastardizing any rig, I think an all aluminum buick 215 V8 swap would be pretty neat. Nice light weight, fairly compact V8 that wouldnt have much if any negative effect on handling. The 90's Land Rover Disco V8's are the same motor with fuel injection.
