Agreed. All I have is two hose clamps that hold the boot in place, nothing more. Works fine (notice that wide recessed groove on the shaft, no way the boot (and spring) is gonna slip out of there with it clamped.

well a clamp is certainly easier, I just dont want the damn thing falling out of the diff at full flex

awsome build bro! cant wait to see some action shots. when i did the c-clip eleminator i used a 2-piece shaft collar that was 1 3/16" to keep the spring in place, but then my stock boot did not fit ova so i just used a shock boot. Yea i would be down for some good ol' colorado wheeling, i just reciently finished my d35 swap w/ an aussie and am really wanting to put it to the test. nice looking truck, keep us posted.

Use a nut driver on the hose clamp, you can get 'em tight enuff that they wont slide.

got my self a raw 32" wide winch plate that I want to run between the frame rails so that I can keep my approach angles and then fab up bumpers similar to this.

That will look cool if you could get the factory bumper back on it some how and put the fairleed on the opening in the front bumper.

in the works... will attach some bent HREW and reinforce the bottom with some thicker plate this weekend i want to be able to pivot around rocks with them

went wheeling last weekend, lost a coil spring and nearly severed a brake line coming down off some snow covered rocks.... I fabbed up a set of brackets that I bolted to the spring buckets to keep the springs in place

sliders are nearly done, just got a few bends to make
set up my slightly used pro tools 105 bender mounted it on a slab of concrete in the back yard with 4 1/2" bolts and a homemade stand
It came with one 240* die good for 1 1/2" tube
this is what the former owner used it for...rolled yota truck turned crawler with dual trannys. should be sick when its done. Anyway it obviously can bend

Hey Crawlin91 nice build. What size list are the drop brackets for? Did you do the 4" lift 6" spring swap thing?

thanks Kona, I used 5.5 superlift brackets on the 6"(bottom) hole with 6" skyjacker soft coils. I may add washer spacers in the future to raise the front end up a little but Im not sure how that would affect my alignment or if I would have to get new bushings.
