I have a 2006 model, today my cruise control just randomly didn't work, what should I look at? In my manual it doesn't look like there's a specific fuse for it, what's the most common place these things fail in?

That's the problem, there are so many places for it to fail.

1. The clockspring in the steering wheel
2. The interlock switches on the pedals
3. Sometimes they have another interlock switch on the master cylinder
4. And then you have the buttons themselves

I'll just add a diagnostic question or 2: when you say "randomly didn't work" do you mean it stopped holding speed while in cruise? Does the cruise light come on on the dash or are you not able to activate it at all? Is it intermittent or it stopped and now never works?

I found out the issue, my mechanic just did my clutch, and didn't seat the clutch position sensor properly, it looked good from the outside, but it wasn't fully seated in its little notch
