Crawlin's Build Thread

No problem,it's always nice to help a bro out.You are now part of Moose Knuckle Fab & Off Road you know that right?

So Ive been working on tying up loose ends on the truck. Had to replace my TRE's, get the pitman arm on there tighter, finish the brakes and get the thing aligned.
The 7.5 hardline fittings didnt fit into the 8.8 drums so I picked up some new ones and made a bracket to give a little extension to the rear since I did not use and extended line. Then I had to find a Tpiece to fit the front driverside and install the 2 piece lines from the tech library. I also threw on some brand new pads.

here is my ghetto-rigged extension for the rear till I get a longer line

I used 2 piece extended rubber lines
The new lines shown are 'Brakeware' that I bought from Autozone. Their part numbers are listed below you need one of each for both sides. As well as some sort of T fitting for the drivers side as it supplies the passenger line as well.

brakeware 77226
brakeware 88291
here you can see the T fitting used as well as the new 2piece lines..look close and youll see the other line coming from behind the spring bucket

Well it wasnt without a few quirks but that can be expected as im still learning about alot of this shit. But I think it went damn well for a couple of guys a driveway and some hand tools.
JeepRecovery has been trying to put something together as well...his SAS'd rig is damn nice.

hell yes i would be in, i just need a replacement tranny....fm146:annoyed:

I cut a few inches from the front bumper. But I need to cut the front fenders as well. It rubs if I turn just right on a angled driveway= all the time wheeling. Ill probably do a little trimming on the rear as well.
