94-97 Power Port Panel

Not sure where to post this, but I made a panel to flush mount a dual USB power port on the dash.
it snaps in place of the blank panel found on 2wd rangers. no modification or fasteners needed.

ignore the white color. I used cheap PLA filament for prototyping.
I will be printing the final version out of ASA (probably ASA-CF), to better handle the temps, and direct UV light found inside the cab.

Currently i have a single, and dual port versions available

This is a work in progress, as i don't quite know what else i "need/want" to mount there.

I may create a version with a relief at the top, which would allow the plastic port cover to be used (usually included with the port).

Also, may change the positioning, to add a switch or two.
heated seats maybe?

Great job! If you figured out the shape and fitment so that it firmly snaps in place like the original, that is 99% of the battle. Even just the file for the blank panel would be useful to many people. Then, they could edit the base file and make it hold whatever switch or indicating light they have.

I recently made a panel for that space to hold 2 lighted pushbuttons. But it is just a flat aluminum-clad plastuc sheet and I had to get creative to fasten it in place.

I’ll have to get a picture, I made a switch panel for that spot in the Choptop years ago out of polystyrene. 3d printing wasn’t an option back then, lol.

Thanks, but A professional designer did the heavy lifting, i just remixed it to fit the usb charging port.

I don't miss resin casting, or fiberglass.
