Back to the trailer....

Kid sent me like 35 more pics of it. I told him not to bother bringing it out. Its basically scrap metal. The floor was good, but the roof had expanding foam covering holes by the ribs, the floor in tht forward compartment was gone...the latches on the back door were....i dont even know.

He offered it to me for 600. I still passed. Still never sent me frame pics which made me suspicious....and as eager as he was to off it made me feel weird too.

He actually got pissed i turned it down. Oh well.

I should just bite the bullet and go buy a new enclosed. Im going to a big ass farm consignment auction monday im gonna see what comes up there. Ill pry come home with something even if its not a trailer.

Well i bought this thing. Its old, ugly, needs rewired, but its actually pretty solid. Only actual rust through is one of the side walls, and its not even a hole yet, being flat should be an easy fix.

I think i overpaid a bit (1300) but itll serve its purpose. Im gonna toss a tarp over it to cover the sides so i can park the quads in it this winter. Next spring ill start working on it. Picking it up thursday.

And off topic (not that it matters) i also bought this...

Which i feel like i stole...it runs, drives, blows (snow) for 230 bucks.

14hp cast iron kohler....hell the headlights even work.

Yeah come spring im going to enclose it....im thinking about doing plexiglass over the side windows and metal on the back. Patch the one bad spot, straighten some of the metal up front (one spot is weirdly peeled bach an inch or two...not rusty, but like someone took a prybar to it), and paint it. The floors solid but looks like shit....ill powerwash it see how it comes out but i may replace it at somepoint
