I impulsively bought some 15x10s and found out that they wont fit. I'm know lookin into some Pro-Comp 16x8s for my 97 4wd. Does anybody have pics or advice? Also, I will be leveling it when I do this.

Thanks in advance!

I'm running 245/70R16 on stock 16x7 wheels. IDK why 16x8 would be a problem unless the offset is wrong. (Think FWD car wheels with the mounting surface flush with the outside of the wheel.)

I had a set of 245/70-16 on 16 x 8s.
245 specs out between 9.5 and 9.75 width so 8" will be fine.
verify backspace & offset, just because the tires fit the rims doesn't mean the rims fit the Ranger..

Check the offset because a lot of Pro Comp wheels have a GM-type positive offset that will tuck the tires too close to the body and they will rub on the inside. You want zero offset or very slightly positive, like +10mm or less.

I dont know exactly what your wheel base is but sounds like you have a rear end running either 15 or 14 inch rims with a standard gear ratio,, I have a 1985 base cab that i just took the bed off of last mmonth due too a bandaid here too many issues and bondo begging to make it look like the cat lady from california,,anyways i put some 16 inch 285 rims and tires on the rear end which had 14 225 75s and the bolted right up too the high geared rear end,, unfortunatly I kinda figured i was going too have too use the rear end out of the 2011 xlt that i have for parts any ways ,, the highway 380s is just too much for the 2,3 efi with a 5 speed ,, if your going too use those on the front end be preparede too get a lift kit and do some home work on the front end adjustments , for my truck its going too be a big jump from original 14 to 16s anyways but i was allready headed that way with my rat rod any ways,,
