Hi all, I need advice, I just recently purchased a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat with 104k/km from a local dealership. It's obviously having issues shifting, when I shift into drive there's a noticeable lurch and an audible sound. On occasion somewhere between 50 and 60 km an hour generally on a slowdown there's a noticeable chug, as if it's missing a gear. I took the truck initially out for a test drive a month ago, expressed my concerns to the dealership, they agreed to change the transmission before my purchase. I just got the truck back today, with no noticeable difference in performance. It's still lurches when shifting into drive, and occasionally on a downshift between 50 and 60 km an hour.
I have a stinking suspicion that they never even changed the transmission as they said they would, I guess my question is, is there any way that I can tell if they have?
It's worth noting that I have an additional 100k aftermarket bumper to bumper warranty I purchased with it as well.
I'll accept any other advice somebody might have.
Thanks guys!!
