<SOLVED!> Turn signals DIED--Hazards still work.

I've perused a few threads with similar titles/symptons, BUT:

1) I have NOT replaced any bulbs with LEDs;
2) ASS-u-ming it's NOT a GROUNDing problem since Hazards work normally... ??
3) I've NEVER towed or used the trailer wiring... but seem to remember there's an OEM plug back yonder for the purpose... probably haven't put eyeballs on it since 2008... full of water?... scary.

It has been WET lately. This '99 WAS part of the intermittent-ghost-wiper recall, and that was done back in 2000. (Also had the "exploding" Firestone tires... )

So should first move be check the fusebox (#5?), followed by stalk disassembly???

Is the actual flasher device in the relay box under the hood?

NEVERMIND!... muh bad... using wrong model-year wiring diag... pulled wrong fuse to disable A/C compressor... SO glad I didn't have to discombobulate the steering column... THIS time.
