Ok... with that and Eric's video it makes sense.

I'm going to try and reserve one of the even numbered deluxe tent sites... probably right where Eric was camped doing reconn.

If you haven't done it yet, maybe try to get one of the lower even numbered numbered sites. What you are referring to are the deluxe tent sites. The map isn't drawn accurately. Use my video to help inyerpret it. But I'm hoping we can set up near that bend in "Mississippi Rd", near the bath house. That also puts us close to the pavilion and fire ring by the lake. All "They" know is that we have a group reservation, primarily for primitive camping. Some of the girls, though they try hard and mean well, aren't as familiar with that part of the campground and reservations.

More important matters — when is pizza night???? I’m hoping to make some pizza dough for maybe pan/stuffed crust or maybe even breadsticks??…

I think Saturday night for the pizza. I'm planning on bringing thin crust disks again.

Feel free to bring or make anything you would like to. You know I tend to error on the side of having to much. So whatever I have brought you're welcome to it.

I gathered all the information for the campground and the off road park. I'll call in to make the reservation tomorrow for the campground tomorrow. If I'm reading the off road park information correctly, it's $20 for up to 3 days. I also printed out the map and reservation/waiver of liability form as well as the address for the park and the directions.

All I know is we plan to go over there at one point. There is going to be different activities so everyone can participate.

I'd be interested in the FS roads. Did some in Montana and it worked out just fine. The OHV may be out of my league and that's ok. I like my truck the way it is

I'm open for whatever the group wants to do. This is a group event where we are supposed to meet and get to know each other in person. Some off road driving would be nice but isn't a must.

I understand. I was looking forward some light off road with the original FS statement. As I understand it, there's evening get togethers to accomplish the get-to-know-you part of the event? It would be my first so I'm just throwing stuff out there. Go with the flow ?

That's part of the reason for the arrangement of a group discount at the KOA. That way we can eat and sleep in the same general area. Some are camping in the open field for primitive camping. At least one is camping in a modern camp spot so he has electric. And I think, but I'm not sure, someone is bringing their camper to camp in the RV section. One other is talking about making arrangements to stay at a hotel or motel but I have no details on that.

We generally gather at one of the camp spots and hang around the fire ring with beverages of choice in the evening or through out the day for those choosing to stay back for whatever reason. There is also talk of camp fire baked pizza one night. That is an extra special treat provided by Uncle Gump and Ericbphoto last time. I believe they are making arrangements to do a repeat performance this year.
