Actually, the staff decided we wanted to make the event attractive to everyone. There was even a discussion about having separate events but decided it would be better if everyone could meet at the same time. Plus, the Carlisle for the Ford Ranger Anniversary show kind of opened up another venue as a purely convenient coincidence for the car show crowd.

Plus there is the matter of budget and location. Meaning, there is no budget (we're broke like everyone else) and it's near impossible to get a location central to everyone since the forum members are from all over the US and Canada.

It truely is central, population wise. According to some documentary not long ago that's why the major package services (Fedex, UPS Etc ) have their major hubs in Memphis

Perhaps I should reword that to convenient for everyone to get to. Not everyone is interested in driving for hours or days to get to an event. Never mind if they can afford it or not. Some people just don't like road trips.

I'm happy to announce that I just ordered a XL heavy duty cot... I'm leaving the air mattress at home.

I'm still considering bringing Goober... a live trapped squirrel AND a live trapped possum in case ya'll have any thoughts of funny business.

I just called to make a reservation... the girl was aware of the TRS discount but was unaware of an area that was designated for us. I think I'm going to get a site with electric and water... it also has a picnic table and fire ring which will be nice for 4 nights. I plan to drive fiwn Wednesday. I want it to be right with the group. I can't seem to find a site map and she was no help on where to find it.
