I already told Mr. @Uncle Gump - no pizza and I'm a now show (LOL - JK).That's part of the reason for the arrangement of a group discount at the KOA. That way we can eat and sleep in the same general area. Some are camping in the open field for primitive camping. At least one is camping in a modern camp spot so he has electric. And I think, but I'm not sure, someone is bringing their camper to camp in the RV section. One other is talking about making arrangements to stay at a hotel or motel but I have no details on that.
We generally gather at one of the camp spots and hang around the fire ring with beverages of choice in the evening or through out the day for those choosing to stay back for whatever reason. There is also talk of camp fire baked pizza one night. That is an extra special treat provided by Uncle Gump and Ericbphoto last time. I believe they are making arrangements to do a repeat performance this year.
Any of you folks coming from the east check out the Cumberland Gap https://www.nps.gov/cuga/index.htm A major gateway to the old west![]()
That's awesome man, I never really paid that song much attention beyond the chorus, quite a story there. Bob Dylan penned parts of it.I had to look it up.
I knew it was in a song, Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker.
Cumberland Falls is probably about an hour and a half to the east of where we'll be. I stopped there on my way to Attica last year.I’ll have to see what the route is from where I live to the meet. If it’s close enough to detour, I might check it out.

Yes. It's not really along your most direct route to LBL.East isn’t what I’m concerned about. South is more the issue. I figure I’ll probably entering the state from the Northeast.
