I sold my buggy a couple weeks ago. It was awesome in some ways, but was really hard to work on and was not comfortable for passengers.

Ended up with this. It's a 94 YJ on tons, 42" pitbulls, ORIs and a brand new 4spd atlas.

I got sliders from Kartek, because it looked to me that the original seats used the weld in karetk mounts. They're spendy, but much more beef than stock style, and lock in with a pin.

Compared to my buggy, getting these harnesses in was a breeze. This is with the seats all the way back, it's much more comfortable, though increasing seat high was a bummer trade off.

I might be the last person to find out about these amazon spod knock offs. Wiring in my whip, radio and buggy whip were a breeze with this thing.

Plug the wires in, screw it down, and you're all set

Has a handy little panel to go with it

And now everything is up and running

Getting the base tune on these was a little easier than I thought it would be. The lower valve controls the ride stiffness. ORI suggest setting to 100 psi as a base and then tuning from there, so that's where I'll start. One of the shocks had no air in it, so that would explain why things felt so off.

The top valve controls the ride height. I decided to bring it down a hair to keep the COG low, and then I can add to it if I need to. I'll bring the nitrogen tank with me on my first ride out in case I need to tweak anything. Will also need to open up the hole around the top valves in the rear to make it a little easier.

Id drive the shit out of that.

What motors in it?

I had a thought- with the tires that far outside the body you could put bigger (taller) ones on and drive it upside down if you flip over. (if you can figure a way for it to still get oil & fuel)

I'll probably go to 43" stickies as soon as i can. Not financially feasible right now with tires at ~$1,000 each, but i'll keep an eye open for a used set

I saw your post of FB the other and started looking out the window at my Ranger sitting there. Then I looked out the other window at the shed where my Superduty axles are…
Stop giving me bad ideas!!!

Cant swing a cat without hitting a SD 60 4 link swap truss these days. I'm excited to have options for axle shafts beyond branik now

Got the crankcase vents replaced, waiting on a new air filter and spark plugs to come and I'll be done I think

Put the doors on and one is pretty banged up, adjusted it as best I could be its gonna be a problem child

My to do list before the shakedown run is done, can't wait to see how it does on the trail
