What did you do to your Ranger today? (Part Deux!)

No winch, nowhere to put one if I had one.

So I did the right thing and snagged a open box winch damper for almost half off at harbor freight for it.

They had the 12k winch on sale, I just pretended I didn’t see that.

Cleaned and painted the trans. The m50d has so much ribbing it takes forever to clean and wire wheel the whole case.

All those nooks and crannies do really add to the work and it never fails that many of them are too small for anything other than elbow grease.

Brake clean to the rescue lol. Plus I picked up a bunch of little wire brush tips for a dremal type tool than I chucked them into my 10$ harbor freight drill did wonders for all the tight spots. You know this is the best group of folks, post projects like this and all a guy gets is likes and positive comments. Where yesterday I signed up to face book so I could join a ranger group, I saw advertised on a ranger. They just make me realize why I've stayed the f away for the last 10 years. I'm about to go delete it. I was just hoping to find people to wheel with. Since you guys are all too far away.

I had a really rough week and was in need of instant gratification. With the help of user RumPunch I put the spare on this weekend!

Jim started this one. He won't delete it.

Tried to get the stove to work, installed clearance light covers and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector.

I thought only trucks with 2.9l engines needed the smoke/CO detector.

Drug some shipping dock bumpers from one side of the building to the other. Our shop 2 buildings (55k sqft & 26k sqft) connected by 2 tunnels that are to small to move these through.

They hung off each side like that. Just set the top on the toolbox, ratchet strapped to the headache rack and went through the front yard. Had to pop start it with the forklift though, it been giving me some electrical crap with the starter wires so its been sitting at my work since Tuesday.
