Jumping in with the guys!

I've never done a core on a 91, but if you can do it without removing the entire dash, consider yourself lucky.

So I checked on you tube
Changing the heater core looks pretty east!
Detach hoses, install new core, reroute hoses higher attack to intake tube correct?

That's about it. I don't know how difficult it is to remove the heater core in that particular year model of truck. Some come out easy from under the dash or through the glove compartment hole. Sometimes the dash has to be removed. Someone here has the exact info for that.

Oh. Bleeding air from the coolant system afterwards is important. But there are tricks for that.

Welcome to the forum. There a couple other ladies here that pop in from time to time.

“Murder Bear” lives close to me. Nothing to worry about from him.

RonD was the God of Canada. Then we learned he was a Yankee expat. We have yet to assign him a new title.

AlwaysFlOoReD is now God of Canada. This is an actual photo of alwaysFlOoReD:

I will defer to your greater experience. However. The truck is a 91. I'm willing to bet a six-pack that if the heater core is original, it's either clogged or leaky.

wisconsin? 3rd heater core....and plugged.
