There is absolutely nothing wrong with that truck that a dozen rolls of Gorilla Tape and 5 gallons of Bondo wouldn't fix.
Maybe 5 or 6 cans of Fix A Flat thrown in.
And maybe a weed eater and mower to clear a path.
And maybe a few cans of insect killer.
And maybe a snake and varmint catcher if needed.

And Rusty, and all of you who can and do bring those "dead" trucks back to life...
I have nothing but admiration for your abilities. You are all true "shade tree mechanics".
I would wish that I was 20, even 10 years younger, and I'd be right in there with you.

Man that means alot.

Ive always gotten a "high" of sorts out of dragging something out of weeds, a barn, whatever and breathing life into it once again.

Ive done with mowers, tractors, cars, you name it lol.

I think rusty 2.0 was the hardest battle i ever fought, prolly cause i was working in pretty uncharted territory (for me), namely, EFI. But also probably the most rewarding.

My next project is to resurect my old 77 LTD II that hasnt ran since 07. That ones a bit more in my leauge lol.

Right there with you on engine/machine resurrection. That first spark of life is a high.

You've done one hell of a job on 2.0. ??

I saw the title "Wenches" and thought this thread was going to have pictures of hot women in it.

I'm disappointed!

You'll find me in north central ohio. I'm always driving around looking for trouble lol. I like how the video of the 2.9 just shows the speedometer and not the road.... Could've been going down a steep hill for all we know. Even still, watching the speedo and the time I think I could beat that. I could put on some small tires too and make my speedometer go that fast too.

I had to go back to the first post to figure out what the thread was originally about. Changing the title is sneaky.

Ha I just noticed that title too. I like wenches. They are much more fun than the winch on my truck :P

I got rid of my wench back in 2002. don't miss her.

2.3's, 2.5's, 2.8's, 2.9's, 3.0's...

They're all just fodder for the mighty 4.0.:ROFLMAO:
