Where Can I Pick Up a Full Floor Pan for a 1992 Ranger?

Hey, folks.

Well, add a new disaster to the list for the ’92 Ranger Supercab that I picked up a few months ago. Finally got up the nerve to tear out the nasty rotten carpet today. I suspected that I’d have to patch a small hole or two, but no. Big holes right through in the front, as well as directly under the seats. Looks like the floor sat in a salt marsh for a while, which I hadn’t suspected, since the frame is in great shape. Obviously, the PO had a bad leak and just left it to rot under there. :annoyed:

The back floor could be salvageable with a bunch of wire wheeling, sandblasting, and a thick coat of POR-15. But I’d much rather just cut the whole damn rotten thing out and replace it. Problem is that I can’t find one. Tried JC Whitney, LMC, CARiD, Dorman, eBay, etc. The closest I can find are patch panels for the front (LMC, CARiD), but no full floors (or even front half ones). CARiD does sell full floors, but not for my truck.

Any tips are greatly appreciated. I think fabricating panels might be a bit above my skill level, so I’m hoping there are other options. Thanks! :icon_welder:

Jeff's Bronco Graveyard.

It ain't just for Broncos any more.

No dice. Jeff's only has front patch panels for ’83-90.

I feel like I’ve looked everywhere at this point, either for a complete floor or else patch panels for the front and middle sections of the floor, that I could weld together. The most I can find are the front patch panels, which are reasonably priced at 40 bucks a side. But the middle sections (under the seats) have to go too. Definitely want new metal. Getting kind of desperate here...

Any chance of just picking up a whole cab somewhere?

I know you said the dirty commie from the city came out and told you you can't have junk yards anymore, but have you considered staging a revolution against your oppressors?

FTFY;
dirty capitalist from the city

Any capitalist [big corp] doesn't like reduce/reuse/recycle because it undermines their profit margins. I would suspect the same with the safety nazis; big corps can afford it while the mom and pops struggle.

Really losing my sh@t trying to find a new full or even half-floor panel. I’ve visited every site I could think of, Google-searched the f@ck out of the Internet, and even reached out to sellers on eBay and Amazon to ask if they could possibly acquire one. Does anyone have ANY idea where I could find what I need?? Not giving up, but I’m pretty d@mn desperate.

If this were me I'd go to my local automotive paint store. In Alberta that would be CAPS; Central Alberta Paint and Supply. They stock a lot of panels for the shops that fix body work. I'm sure there would be something local. Ask around your parts places, check the phone book....

That’s not a bad idea, man. I’ll hunt around and see if I can figure out where the local paint store would be around here. Thanks for the tip!
