I got a plane

Looks like a lot of fun, when I fly I always try to get a window seat so I can watch what is going on.

Coming back from Detroit a couple weeks ago we had a pretty sporty landing coming into Omaha, it was really windy and the pilot/autopilot/whoever really had to work it. Everybody else was quiet, I was wishing I had a window to watch (I was in front of the emergency exit so it was just a solid wall)

Well any landing where you can use the plane again is considered a good landing.

Former landing gear engineer here - this a a very true statement. The only time people notice the landing gear is when they don't function properly.

Well after about 3 years it's finally time to say goodbye to my 150. I'll be moving up to a Beechcraft Bonanza or Cessna 180. Got it all cleaned up and there are a few things left to fix on it.

Looks so much fun. Congrats, Mastuh. I know you've been busy and worked really hard to get to where you are today.

Unfortunately, I'm still not done yet, all this new stuff is the hard part.

Moved up to the E35 Bonanza, my grandpa got a P35 which recently just lost it's number 5 cylinder.

My dad was fascinated with the V-tails as a kid, I think they are about his favorite private plane.

Looks like a nice plane :icon_thumby:

It's pretty nice, lot of fun to fly, V-Tails are pretty iconic and also known as doctor killers.
Here's my grandpas P35.

So I suppose it's about time for an update. I don't know if I said this but I picked up my Instrument rating, but more recently I just got my Commercial Multi engine rating. Next up is Commercial Singeengine and then it's off to CFI school. Also more pics of my E35.

Commercial multi engine before commercial single engine?

Commercial multi engine before commercial single engine?

Not like I know what I'm talking about, but it *does* make a bit of sense. Single Engine would be a lot more likely to crash if the engine fails. Multi Engine, you can use the other engine(s) to compensate for the failed engine. Single engine, when it fails, you're going down, no matter what.

But, like I said, I am anything but an authority on the subject at hand.
