I got a plane

Not like I know what I'm talking about, but it *does* make a bit of sense. Single Engine would be a lot more likely to crash if the engine fails. Multi Engine, you can use the other engine(s) to compensate for the failed engine. Single engine, when it fails, you're going down, no matter what.

But, like I said, I am anything but an authority on the subject at hand.

Multi engines have a lot more to keep an eye on and if you lose an engine having the sole power source so far from the centerline makes handling very different.

Commercial multi engine before commercial single engine?

If you get your COMM ME before SE you don't have to do your COMM SE in a complex aircraft. Your initial has to be in a complex, so therefore we do it in the Seminole and then the Archer.

Speaking of which, yesterday I just got my commercial single so now I'm off to CFI school.

Also, multiengine aircraft can be more safe and more dangerous. If your in cruise and you lose an engine you have many options. On top of that, if you lose it on takeoff or landing you can VMC roll which a lot of people have died with that.

Lent out my plane to one of my grandpa's friends who is a CFI and wanted to do a complex endorsement for some of his students. Came back beat up and broken, so my grandpa is paying for the repairs, me and my dad have been working on it lately doing things that needed to be done.
Such as new interior. No more blue shag carpet. Polishing, painting and fixing broken parts.
Old interior being gutted.

Well, I passed my MEI. I am now a flight instructor. After the break I'm finishing up my CFI and CFII. Finally the light at the end of the tunnel is shining and I'll actually have my aviation career job.

Dang, you are really making tracks on advancing.

How is the plane now, what happened?

And I'm done.
Going to start work at the Flight Safety Support Desk in March then come back home and instruct.

Wow, 23 and a flight instructor. That's impressive.

It's kinda weird because when I'm at the airport with my dad everyone thinks he's the pilot.

Hey neighbor, props on the licenses!! :icon_thumby:

Congratulations on your achievement.

See what a seed planted by someone (grandpa) can do for someone.

We all should have someone influential in our lives.
