I've decided to go with a Subaru outback which still has enough ground clearance to do mild off roading but will get 27 on the highway and 21 in the city.

tru dat, i average 25 in my little trail scout subie with slightly larger tires than stock (i run snow tires year round, which are great for the trail!).. with stock tires i got 29.. its great for a.) winter b.) daily driving c.) mild offroading, my car has seen more rocks and trails than most SUVs!

I'm still gathering shtuff for the tranny swap. It looks a heck of a lot easier then I first assumed.

Couple of wiring harnesses, tranny cooler lines.

Now that I said that I'm sure I'll have a horrible amount of tiny BS problems.

i already told you once, remove the CPS from the bellhousing before you pull it! you will most likely destroy in when you pull the tranny. if you need any advice give me a call i just pulled a AW4 a few weeks ago so its fresh in my mind.

Yes, they took it after I stumbled in the front door at midnight after getting home from a party.Nothing I could do or they were gonna kick me out, and being logical I decided to let them and just deal with it.
