Protein requirements per lb of bodyweight to build muscle..

You can do a fair amount with a broom handle and gallon milk jugs full of water.

Also, go back and watch Rocky IV. 😀

At least the first 30 minutes, I think that's when all the barn training happened wasn't it?

I did buy a pack of those spring loaded grip strength deals though... 16 years of driving screws and cutting through miles of aluminum sheet with hand shears has given me a near Popeye status right forearm lol. Noticed a few years back when I got a nice fitted flannel shirt from LLBean.. the right forearm had no slack in it but my left had all sorts of room 😑 lol. Been driving my OCD crazy. [/QUOTE said:
Are we expected to believe it is because of using shears is the reason why one arm is bigger than the other? :D

Hey.. I like to jork it as much as the next guy but damn.. I haven't been full of that much vigor since I was a teenager haha. Even then.. I don't think I was EVER full of enough spirit to make me lopsided 😂

Definitely a lot of shearing, I assure you lol.

Like yesterday.. I needed to cut 134 feet of .032" aluminum.. gutter panels for leaf protection. 3 feet a piece.. probably takes around 30lbs of force to get one solid 'snip' with the shears since theyre duller than your average grandmas taste in movies... and each panel took anywhere from 15-20 snips to get fully cut.

That works out to between 660-880 reps.. my arm was an absolute noodle by the time I was done and I'm still feeling it 24 hours later. I've tried to cut left handed but that's a no go.. I end up cutting my hand more than the panel lol.

One of the things I do regularly is sharpen my snips. Well.... Used to. I've semi retired from siding and capping. And every snip I've ever bought needs a tune up on the grinder before using it. Even Malco.
And yes, my right hand and forearm used to be measurably bigger, and have callus on the fingers where the snips rode. Not anymore tho.

Sharpening snips... You're either a genius or all of us at work are dummy's..

Naturally... I'm gonna have to go with you're a genius 😋

We're really just spoiled with big corporate money. They don't hand out bonuses for things like cutting back on material waste or low yearly expenditures on tools or anything....like EVERY OTHER company on our industrial park does... So we don't think twice about just buying new snips whenever the ones we have get super dull.

All they've done is take take take since we went public years back.. we get less.. the CEO gets more.. still haven't got our 4th week of vacation back that they took away around 2010 due to the recession... That was supposed to be only temporary... Since then our stock price has gone from under 30$ a share to 200 bucks a share...

Bah humbug.
