That is pretty cool, I have a hunk of channel iron I need to get around to making a rear bumper out of.

Well then get on that! This one was really simple to make. :icon_thumby:

New poly body mounts, 1" lift block and hardware.

This is what 27 years does to a body mount bolt.

Had to use a sawzall to cut off every single body mount. Pain in the rear!

It's a tad higher now; no more tire rubbing.

Some pics from the wheeling trip with some of the Utah guys

After that wheeling trip I think I need a turbo, and more lift in the front and some extended radius arms.....

Lovin' the build. You've done some great work! :icon_thumby:

Started on the front bumper. From here I can add some tubing, make a stinger, etc. Idk. We'll see what happens next.

Making me wish I had a first or second gen 4x4 instead of the 99. The 99 has been a decent truck, but the square bodies look so much better.

Which poly body mounts did you get? Need to pick up a set for the first gen 2wd I'm working on.

Prothane 6-106-BL Black Body and Cab Mount Bushing Kit - 12 Piece https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003AVWYPK/?tag=959media-20

That kit worked great. I went to fastenal to get hardware but they didn't have 12mm bolts that were long enough so I just got grade 8 1/2" bolts. They worked fine

I wanted something similar for mine...still haven't found a stock one yet...

Just make one bro. Super easy and quick. :icon_thumby:

We have a rebel sympathizer here... :nono:

I have a big hunk of heavy channel iron (like 1/4-3/8" thick) to make a rear bumper out of, I just haven't gotten to it yet. The mounts look pretty easy to make work for just about anything.

The rollpan look is very clean. :icon_thumby:
