Need a center console for 2000 Ranger XLT

Title pretty much says it. I've been looking all over for this part. It's the little console that raises between the seats. (Not a bench seat) I've got a 2000 Ranger XLT. I've went to over 10 local salvage yards and each one, the part I was looking for was either already gone or was completely destroyed. On mine, the only thing that's really wrong with it is the lid. The lid is completely destroyed. It has pulled apart from the plastic and the fabric, it won't close anymore since the latch is broken off too. So I'm either trying to find just the top piece, with the latch, or trying to locate the entire thing. The dealership wants $300 odd dollars for it. Was hoping to find some insight here about where to find parts like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Also, I've looked on Rockauto and they don't have it)

I'm trying to find this pretty quick. I'm a trucker and I go back to work on Sunday and won't have much time to search while I'm out on the road....

Yup. No luck on eBay or craigslist. Car-part.com doesn't have it either =/

That is the exact thing I'm looking for, but I need one to be a beige / brownish color.

Thanks! I'll be out over the road somewhere (trucker). Hopefully I'll be able to search a few yards myself. However, I was told, by one of the local yards, that this particular part is one of the very first to be sold off a vehicle. I just might end up grabbing it from the dealership for ~$300. Pretty easy thing to install; but damn that's a lot of money for something so small haha.

I used to drive OTR, my handle's Cajun. stay safe driver. I have the luxury of having a local yard thats only been open for a few years, so parts are slightly more available...

The latches on those always broke. I know I've seen some listed on eBay.

It has been a long time since I've seen one on eBay. I used to see quite a few, but they were wanting around $150 for the dang thing, which, given the fact that the factory wants 300, it doesn't seem like such a bad deal anymore.
