1989 F150 mild restoration build

your fawking crazy.....

though with road duty being the goal...it may be a wise investment to keep it looking good.....

i was crying over 70 dollars to give mine a whore bath... but spending all that time to do a nice prep job does justify the paint.

^ My thoughts exactly. And yes, I am indeed slightly insane :icon_twisted:

Truck got painted today finally. Now I have the daunting task of putting it back together....

^ Yup. There is no aftermarket support for bricknose trucks. Only thing she'll be getting is LED plug and plays and clear corner lenses from AFT (where you got yours)

Only slightly?

:icon_thumby: Only slightly lol

Perfect. IMO. I love no amber, but I hate crystal clear (non fluted) lenses. Should look top notch

Same here. It's those subtle touches that really set off a vehicle.

Got the doors, windows, & interior put back together. Installed my new to me 40/20/40 seats, and put the tailgate together.

My entire body aches from sanding haha. I had 8 hours in sanding down the primer and countless hours getting the truck ready with the body work. Well worth it. And thank you. I love the color as well.

One step closer. Just waiting on my bumper, mirrors, window trim pieces, and bedliner
