b2 lift

alright ive heard from friends who have b2s that i can take explorer and jeep parts to lift my b2 although none of them did that so if anybody can help me with the list of parts and vehicles i could possibly pull them off of that would be awesome

im just trying to raise it up about 4in right now since its my project car when im done with college im gonna lift it more but what did you pulll off all those to lift it and how high did you take it

Mine's about 10" over stock. Look through a few build threads, there's plenty of cool stuff to read through.

Your best bet is a washer lift, Explorer leaf springs, and a body lift. Or buy an off the shelf lift kit.

We may repurpose other parts, most of the time they are new parts, and the price and build times add up significantly.

Yeah, I pieced together my front lift... but it wasn't cheaper than a basic lift, but it is better.

f250 shock towers
3.5" Early Bronco Lift Coils
Homemade extended Radius arms
VMS Drop Bracket, Homemade Drop bracket on the other side
Jeep JKS quick disconnects on the sway bar
etc.... it's all in my build thread, start on page 123

ok since im starting to accumulate the parts for the lift i was getting ready to buy tires and put them on, is it possible to run a 90 b2 on 31s with stock suspension and no nobody lift i cant seem to find the answer because im running 30s right now but i have money to get new tires and im trying to start the build

I'm gonna say no.... I didn't try it. Probably depends on flex.

31s rub with the steering turned to full lock on my stock '85

They'd fit, kinda. On stock wheels. A quick and cheap 1"-1.5" washer lift would really help. But don't expect it not to rub the radius arms when turning, or the fenders when stuffed.

thats what i was wondering if i would rub and if i would have issues when i have flex but thanks on the washer lift i never even though about that

so question my buddy bought some super lift shocks he isnt going to use since he pulled the some skyjackers off of his dads ranger, hes going to give me all the bushing and every thing that it came with for the front, i havent ever seen super lift stuff and just wondering the integrity of it off road and everything he says itll give me at most 2in of lift in the front but im really wondering about eh quality of them?

Superlift stuff is fine.

Shocks won't give you lift. The +2 means it's made for a 2" lift setup. It's 2" longer than a stock shock.

well yeah but it came with a 2in body lift for some reason

body lift doesn't change your suspension geometry.. therefore, you don't need longer shocks
