Whats up everyone? I am new to this site as you can tell. This is also my first ranger. but not my first ford.
I just bought the truck it has 93k or 193k miles but it only has 5 digits so cant tell. It runs like a champ, but was smoking on and off, I put some throttle body cleaner in it and let it run and shut it off. started it up and got most of the crap out though the exhaust. I had to put new muffler and tail pipping due to holes everywhere. I am not sure if it even has a thermostat or not due to the temp gauge staying hella low. Will check on that when I have time over the weekend or something. I am also not sure if oil pressure sender is working so I have to test oil presser. Like I said the truck runs great only stales when I f up due to clutch, haven't driving one in long ass time. I was told eng was rebuilt looks really clean. I am not sure if it has stock throttle body or not hella hoses everywhere, and haven't seen any good diagrams anywhere. Going to order the ford one if no one has any good pix. Was missing a hose on driver side manifold cover not sure if that was the pcv or a elbow or something. so I just added the elbow. Running out of time due to at library. I saw a little oil on the air filter today, will look at it better tomorrow.. If I can't think of anything I will add it. I plan on adding new cats old ones look all messed up. have to smog it in oct. Thanks for reading my post. Had to type it really fast.
