Ok, any slop in them or are they snug fit?

they are a snug fit, I am very pleased with them. I removed the spring on the bottom hanger for easier on/off. I can take them off and put them back on by myself.

Yeah i have access to a mill at work, so i used that, if you have a problem drilling the hole try grinding a flat spot on the bolt.

Yeah i have access to a mill at work, so i used that, if you have a problem drilling the hole try grinding a flat spot on the bolt.

I did this door disconnect mod today on my 1992 Ranger
5/16" bolts were way too small of diameter and 3/8 was a touch too big. I used 3/8 bolts and drilled through the brackets and bronze bushings. I would imagine Ford changed the hinge size with the 2nd gen vehicles, not sure but that was my experience.

Its a good kit. I recommend ordering it by phone though. I got ahold of him he first time I called and had the kit 5 days later. Others have had issues so just be weary. Regardless of his customer service I dont think anyone could beat his kit.
