they are a snug fit, I am very pleased with them. I removed the spring on the bottom hanger for easier on/off. I can take them off and put them back on by myself.
Cool, Im going to do this myself, probably drill a hole in the bolts and add a retaining pin as well. +rep for you
Yeah i have access to a mill at work, so i used that, if you have a problem drilling the hole try grinding a flat spot on the bolt.

I did this door disconnect mod today on my 1992 Ranger
5/16" bolts were way too small of diameter and 3/8 was a touch too big. I used 3/8 bolts and drilled through the brackets and bronze bushings. I would imagine Ford changed the hinge size with the 2nd gen vehicles, not sure but that was my experience.
They might have changed them, sorry it didn't work out as easy with yours. glad you got them to work though

Its a good kit. I recommend ordering it by phone though. I got ahold of him he first time I called and had the kit 5 days later. Others have had issues so just be weary. Regardless of his customer service I dont think anyone could beat his kit.
