How do you like the hankooks? I've heard good things about them in a magazine before but I've never seen anyone run them before. Do they measure close to 37 inches?

Yeah I've had the 9" in the garage for awhile but don't like the low pinion. I think the 8.8 will be a good match for the front axle strength. I'm still running the stock 28 spline 8.8 right now with drum brakes and 1.5" wheel adapters. Still 4" narrower than the front.

If anybody needs a 9" 31 spline big bearing axle let me know. 5x5.5 pattern.

It's a good tire in everything but thick mud. They grip rocks and hard pack just as good as any tire I've had. Very thick and strong sidewall but still flexes great.

36" at 22psi on the rear

Started on one of the wheels. Dismounted the tire with some screwdrivers and a Hi-lift.

Cleaned the lip with a angle grinder.

Centered with 50 cents on each side and tacked.

Started welding 2 bolt hole sections at a time.

Yeah I've wanted bead locks forever. Was running 12 in the front and 8 in the rear will probably go 8 and 6 now.

Went ahead and added a anti coning ring. 1/8 x 1/2 x 48 from Rural King.

Ok, I'll let you know, but don't hold it. If you get a buyer, go ahead and sell it, these are a dime a dozen around here. What truck did you get the 8.8 out of, did it come factory with disc brakes?

No 9's in the yards around here. 8.8 came out of a full size Bronco with drums. Will be getting Ruff Stuff 3/8 9" weld on disc brackets for 3 1/4 tube, Dodge 4x4 97-02 1/2 ton rotors, and Chevy 4x4 73-87 3/4 ton calipers.
