powertrax no slip vs 33x10.5x15

any more pic requests? high centering has always been my pitfall. and no, none of the pics are extreme rock crawling, or from rausch creek, these are just a few pics from just a few times messing around.

Lol, im looking for the emoticon that blows my brains out.

You could do it for real.

Seriously, your pictures are great but they don't strengthen your argument that larger tires without power going to them are better than smaller tires with power going to them. This is opposite of my short 25-year experience with off-road vehicles. I do respect you and I don't want to fight with you, but our opinions are very different on this. And I did say that I have had both 35s and 31s on this same B2.

well, i think the ones of the jeep with a locker stuck in the same spot i went through on multiple passes with 33s and him with 31s would have done it. and ive never doubted your experience, im just stating what my exact experience was with my long wheel base truck. and i hope i wasnt at all being disrespectful to you, ive seen your posts for years on this site, and judging by them youve always been a decent person. i dont think youve been desrespectful to me either.... ever. its just like you said, a difference in opinion. the pics were just because he asked for them, and showing that highcentering (having no wheels on the ground) and dragging frame through mud was more of a problem for me than being stuck with one wheel in the air and one with power going to it on the ground.

if you take this conversation off of an internet forum, and move it to a bunch of people leaning over a truck bed talking, it doesnt sound quite like were fighting... just a bunch of people that are talking about something they enjoy..... god bless the internet for making everyone feel like assholes, lol.

wow guy's, didn't expect this many replies, seems like this thread heated up quite a bit, where i'm located theres pretty much no rock climbing .. mainly just mud and goo /// truck is a DD for next year and a half// i go wheeling every other weekend, but my problem has always been high centered or, my front end being to damn too low(fixed now)... i respects everyones opinion on this... my tires have about 50% thread life on them , i was willing to sell them and go for 33's, but maybe a powertrax no slip is better (no slip because i'm 5pseed manual) i'm still debating back and forth haha, really appreciate your input guy's!!!

It's simple.

If you're getting high centered, and don't care about body damage or breaking things, get the no slip and just mash through everything and get banged up.

If you care about body damage, you need more clearance. Bigger tires will help.

Only 25 years?! I'm not listening to anything you've to say!!

JK bro just messing with you:icon_thumby:

And like what 4.0B2 said, what about a lunch box locker?

Pretty sure they only make 31spline 8.8 aussies. I think. And for the price, id rather a new set of tires over retreads. Just my opinion.

If you get the locker you can weld the front diff ad make better use of the 31's, but if its a daily driven street truck I wouldn't. 33's are gonna kill you gas mileage. I have 4.0 5 spd and 33's, and I upped to some exploder 3.55's I get about 11 mpg. 14 hwy

:icon_surprised:

im running 4.0 auto with 33x10.5's and 4.56's. i get 18mpg city, 22-24 highway.
