door removal

I have been looking at other threads about people asking this question but does anyone have pics of the process that they did to take the doors off. I have manual doors and locks but have speakers and door sensors. How would I disable the sensor and disconnect the speakers but be able to reconnect them?

there is a plug in the wires up inside of the cab if you follow the wires up

if you can't find the plug, then take the door panel off (theres a few screws you have to find), unhook the wires and fish the harness out of the door.

i just cut mine but i dont care if a light comes on when i open the door. it is annoying though when you leave the headlights on and there isnt an alarm

im pulling my doors this week... i found some doner door hinges, in case i F mine up i can always go back... my truck is an 89. I will take pictures when i do this.

you don't care about having speakers either? Drivers door on my Jeep is all screwed up because someone decided to be a hack and cut all the wires too, then butt connected them back together, would have been easier to just do it properly.

well that sucks your jeep doesn't have speakers but my ranger didn't have a radio so speakers are pointless and considering i'm never selling it i really don't care.

Kick panel on the driver side under the dash should be 2 plugs. One large grey one and I believe a smaller black plug. BOTH a PITA to fish out through the tiny hole .
