disciplerocks's B2 build thread

And after all that bitching you do about solid axles. I hope you hate yourself. :thefinger:

Yeah I know. I've pretty much pushed the limits of the 35 and had to do something. I just got lucky I found it with the gears, or I'd be swapping knuckles right now.

and here i was all excited for a b2 with the 44/50 hyrbrid crammed with 60 stuff. running some 40s and a doubler. woulda been waaay to cool. either way this will be sick.

Thinking of leaving the RAs stock length and just boxing them in.

Work with what you have before going any furture.

Well I'm thinking I install the bitch and pickup and extra set to beef up. Then I could swap them out fairly quickly.

yup makes sense. you just gonna use the fullsize radius arm crossmember narrowed down and in the right place for those arms? doing that then slapping a panhard on shouldnt take too long...

Let me know when your ready to sell your TTB Stuff, i'm looking to buy some stuff

Was going to get the RA brackets from the FSB this came out of.

let me know if you wanna get rid of your homemade stonecrusher steering!!

I am going to be using the hiems and going to try to salvage one of the beams for a trac bar.

Bones built some Tankerous (That's not a word, but oh well) RAs. If I remember right I seen the tracbar attached to your FW44 from the JY. Why not just cut it in the middle, take out what you don't need, then sleeve it & weld it up? :icon_idea:
Probably not as fancy as a new one, but probably a lot cheeper. Trust me, new adjustable one isn't cheap, it's still sitting in WCB2 like pennies in the bank, but it isn't drawing any interest!

You can get an EB tracbar from BG with new poly's for $50...Have you thought about narrowing the 44 to EB width?? I can help you with that if your interested...

I still need to do more research, but from what I have gathered 96 was the only one with a 5 bolt pattern.

Interesting. I was under the impression all the other spindles had a 6 bolt pattern. I am going to have to do more searching and maybe swap arou d some parts at the u-pull tomorrow.

To Clarify the Ford 44's are 5 bolt spindles, BUT the 92-96 FSB has the SMALLER 5 bolt pattern that will bolt straight to the ranger 35 knuckle, making the 44 outers a bolt on upgrade...
