disciplerocks's B2 build thread

I would upgrade the front when you get a chance. You are having way to many problems with your D35 and it is cutting into what fun you could be having.

Still trying to figure out what I want to do. I could do a 44/50 hybrid. Most everything I need is accessible including a rear axle. But I would need to find some 8 lug rims and new tires cause 15s won't clear.

Or I could do the 44 outers and have better ball joints, wheel bearings, and hubs. All the things I am having problems with. But nothing for that is accessible right now.

i say to do the 44/50 hydrid... its time. you have a doubler and everything now. your 35s are worn its time for new tires anyways.

not to mention you know thats where your gonna end up anyways

I don't have that kind of money. I'm trying to get it wheelable. Maybe work on a better axle over a period of time, but right now I can't do anything.

For those of you who don't have me on FB, I have joined the dark side.....

Now let me do some explaining. I went for some 44 parts to do the outers and came across this. Walked by it, but then I got curious about the gearing. A little counting and some division and wouldn't you know it, 4.56s. So there it began. and a few hours and $200 later I got this thing in my trailer.

If it wasn't for the gearing, I wouldn't have even bothered, but I figured for a little more than I was gonna pay to do the 44 outers, why not.

Hahaha. So you did get it. I knew it wouldn't take long for you to SAS it.

But like he said, if it wasnt for the gears, it wouldnt have happened. I will say that is a nice find and worth the $200.

So are you keeping her FW or going to narrow her? If narrow then your rear is good and only needs a set of adaptors to fit 5.5x5.

Think I'm gonna leave it and get some spacers for the rear.
