Got my radiator mounted, had to cut up the core support quite a bit to get as much room as possible.

Started installing my t case, I realized that if I want a flat bottom, and if want to use the clocked 205, I will have to remove a large amount of floor, not a big deal but it might make using my factory seats tough....might be time for my poly bucket seats.

I also picked up some steel today to make a new tierod, then started on my new shackles for when I shorten the frame, put on my brakes and got a plan together for new lower shock mounts.

Oh, and for the record, a 205 is a heavy sob. Almost crushed my toes and fingers a few times lol

Cut my floor up, got the case installed. Installed my new yokes on the case and 60 too. Started on my front shaft. Then I made my new tierod and got my steering together.

Gotta go to the junkyard and find a rear shaft Friday.

Hope I get time tomorrow to work on this thing.

Here is my floor, in all its dirty glory.

Here is the radiator mounted

I have about 2.875" of room and the fan I ordered is 2.625", will be tight.

New lower shock mounts. They are ruffstuff .250 thick, 3 sided shock tabs.

Then here is my frame gusset/fish plate. Started welding it and ran out of wire today.

Picked up my soon to be custom 1350 drive shaft yesterday

Then I wrapped up everything on the rear axle. Pirches welded, anti wrap brackets on, shocks moved and welded on, frame gusset done, cover is now a 13 bolt and bolted on, brakes on, and everything painted. I also finished the front shock mounts, bump stops, and bolted the steering on.

Getting close now, just need to make drive shafts, linkages for the 205, fuel cell,mount my seats, and get the motor running.

Rolled it out of the garage today while cleaning and snapped a couple pictures. Used the jack to lift up to ride height.

those shocks going to be long enough? mounted outboard vs inboard effectively changes the length need, as they are further from the center of rotation, and thus need a longer shock to equate to the same amount of flexure....just a thought I had
