Yeah Dustin, that was it !! The 8274 is Warn's most notorious 8K winch, it is the standup winch that is the fastest winch in production, as well as the most reliable and longest cable...

Yeah it will pull it on flat ground. As soon as I get the money, I'll get a good one. Right after a rear locker.

If you carry a couple snatch blocks, you can double/triple the line pull to get you out of what you get stuck in without killing the winch...

disciplerocks, could you post a picture of how you bypassed the abs block ??? I'm thinking of tearing mine apart to see whats inside of it, and bypass it also since when I got my 89 BII the ABS light was on.

also IF i had the money, I would put that 60 or what ever it is, under the back of my 2wd Ranger with the 4.0 upgrade just for the heck of it.
