So lately my truck has been suffering from a lot of power loss, I mean hills I used to cruise 45 - 50mph up I can barely make 35mph, and this is with the 31's and stuff between the two, I think that is because the air intake fell off and is now sucking in nice manifold heated air.
But the real problem is the fact that it has started to misfire at seemingly random times while I'm driving, usually up hills but down hill and stuff too, and it isn't like one misfire here or there its like the engine just starts going like123_5_ 123_5_ 123_5_ 123_5_(or similar), from second to fifth. and it goes on for a minute or two then goes away, I figured it was probably water in the distributor or loose wires or fouled plugs but I checked all and they seem fine , plus it has new plugs and wires anyway (it was doing it before but that was because of an exposed wire, and it was gone for awhile after I had done this.) I am going to check and see if the distributor needs tightened now but let me know what you think, I will check that too.
